This guide is here to assist you in your first encounter with equipment. Each step provides information on how to get online tracking working properly.
The "Gateway Setup" section explains how to place gateways, while the "Hardware Setup" section provides instructions for setting up each gateway's hardware.
The "Location Setup" section is all about using the Navigine platform. It provides step-by-step instructions on important tasks like uploading your map, adding asset tags, and making sure everything is functioning properly. Each of these steps improves the accuracy of tracking tags and helps us identify any issues. For example, the Device monitoring reports allow us to see if the gateways are connected to our servers.
The Troubleshooting is designed to assist you in verifying whether your network is successfully sending data to our servers. Additionally, it provides reports that indicate the status of the gateway connection to our servers.
If you miss something, please review the previous steps before moving forward. Before you begin installing gateways, make sure to note down all the device information, such as the Mac address, so that you can add it to the map later.
To install the software, you need to place the Minew gateway on the ceiling as shown in the photo, before proceeding.
Make sure your network allows sending data to Navigine server.

The first step in setting up a location-based tracking system is to upload an image of the floor plan. This will serve as the basis for all subsequent steps, including adding locators, drawing barriers, and creating zones. To access a more detailed manual, visit the link.
When you upload image plan, click on Advanced setting and scroll to the Tracking Config. Choose "Minew for offices zone-level". Click Save button.
Open the Sublocation interface.
Click on the "Add transmitter" button.
Name: Choose a descriptive name for the gateway. For example, "Minew gateway 1" or MAC address.
UUID: Enter the MAC address of the Minew gateway without the colon " : " symbol.
Click on "Save" button to add the Minew gateway to the floor plan.
Repeat the process for each additional Minew gateway that you want to add to the floor plan.
After uploading the floor plan, the next step is to draw barriers on closed locations and walls. Barriers define areas of the floor plan that are off-limits to navigation and will help to ensure that the navigation system accurately reflects the layout of the building. The BeaconSet+ app is designed to make it simple for you to configure asset tags. If you need assistance in configuring asset tags, you can visit this link to find helpful instructions.
Check the Online tracking tab to see the objects appear if everything is correct.
To ensure that you can send data to the Navigine server, please check if your network permits this. To establish a connection, you need to connect to your gateway and then follow the provided instructions.
To ensure that your Minew device is functioning correctly, you have the option to include a Device Monitoring Report. This report will indicate whether your gateway is currently connected to the internet or disconnected.
