This guide is designed to help you with your initial experience using equipment.
The "Moko Smart Gateway setup" section explains how to connect to the gateway using a phone or PC and then access the Web Management platform. In the platform, you will need to configure settings so that the gateway can connect to Navigine servers.
The "Location Setup" section focuses on using the Navigine platform. It provides step-by-step instructions for important tasks such as uploading your map, adding asset tags, and ensuring that everything is working correctly. Each of these steps improves the accuracy of tracking tags and allows us to identify any issues.
If you find that you have missed something, please go back and review the previous steps before proceeding. Before you start installing gateways, be sure to take note of all the device information, such as the Mac address. This information will be needed later when adding it to the map.
Turn on the Moko Smart Gateway and wait for 1 minute.
Using your PC or phone, connect to the WiFi Access Point with the following default settings:
After connecting to the WiFi Access Point, access the web management platform by inputting 192.168.22.1 in the search bar.
Log in to the web management platform using the following default credentials:
Username: Admin
Password: admin
IMPORTANT! After logging in, you will see the Status page. Find the field called "Gateway MAC Address." Copy this MAC Address and remove the columns, then store it in a notepad or some other place. You will need to paste it a few times over the course of the setup.
Choose the Network module in the left panel, then select "Internet Access." Now click on the drop-down menu and choose either a WLAN access mode (Wi-Fi connection) or connect using Ethernet.
For the SSID field, input your Wi-Fi name. You can also click the "search" icon to choose a network from a list provided by the Gateway.

Click the "Advanced Setting" slider, then:
Username: navigine-mqtt
Password: htkEQqX$Mc
Now fill these fields in (instead of MACADDRESS, paste the MAC address you've stored in Step 4):

Also, change the Upload Interval to "1"
In other words, make sure every box is ticked.
Don't forget to Save and Apply! (button at the bottom)

The first step in setting up a location-based tracking system is to upload an image of the floor plan. This will serve as the basis for all subsequent steps, including adding locators, drawing barriers, and creating zones. To access a more detailed manual, visit the link.
Open the Sublocation interface.
Click on the "Add transmitter" button.
Name: Choose a descriptive name for the gateway. For example, "Moko Plug gateway 1" or MAC address.
UUID: Enter the MAC address of the Moko Plug gateway without the colon " : " symbol.
Click on "Save" button to add the Moko Plug gateway to the floor plan.
Repeat the process for each additional Moko Plug gateway that you want to add to the floor plan.
After uploading the floor plan, the next step is to draw barriers on closed locations and walls. Barriers define areas of the floor plan that are off-limits to navigation and will help to ensure that the navigation system accurately reflects the layout of the building. Options - which allow you to customize the app settings
Team - which determines the users who can manage the application
Locations - which specifies the locations that will be visible for tracking
You need to add objects to the system to view your assets on the online tracking platform. The steps for adding objects are as follows:
Title - the name that will be displayed in the Online tracking tab
Group- the group that will contain the asset tag
Object type – select "Dynamic" for asset tags that move, or "Static" for those that don't
Device type – select "New" if you're adding a new device, or "Old" if you've already added the device. If you select "Old", a list of device names will appear in the Device ID section
Device ID – the IMEI of the device or Mac adress
If everything is filled in correctly, the tracked devices should appear in the Online tracking tab within a few minutes.
Check the Online tracking tab to see the objects appear if everything is correct.
